Anvil Dataworks is pleased to announce its affiliation with the FM Academy, a consortium of FileMaker® Pro developers from around the United States. The purpose of the group is to further educate FileMaker users and developers, to encourage best practices, and to foster further adoption of the software. All FM Academy members are Platinum-level members of the FileMaker Business Alliance and offer training, development, and support of FileMaker software for business, education, and government markets. The group meets regularly to discuss business and technical best practices.

Chuck Melton, Manager of Application Development at Anvil Dataworks, says, “Being a member of the FM Academy is going to be a tremendous benefit to Anvil Dataworks. The consortium gives us the ability to share knowledge and experience with other leading FileMaker development companies which we can leverage to provide outstanding solutions and service to our clients.”

“For small businesses, partnering and working together with competitors is one way to face the challenges of today’s tough economic climate,” adds Karen Kalantzis, CEO of Corporate Network Services, a Maryland IT support services firm and the parent company of Anvil Dataworks. “Working together as a cohesive unit creates momentum in the marketplace and hopefully increased demand for FileMaker software and development services.”

Anvil Dataworks recommends FileMaker Pro software as the perfect tool for SMBs to collect, organize, manage, and share data for improved productivity, and has created database solutions for Cure International, Atlantic Precious Metal Resources, and National Institutes of Health, among many others.
