TricycleFish Network Solutions adds Remote Support to Website

TricycleFish Network Solutions announced today that it now offers remote support via its website.

TricycleFish Network Solutions customers now have the ability to visit its website http://www.tricyclefish.com, navigate to the support page and immediately connect with a support representative to receive assistance.

“Remote support allows TricycleFish to respond to our customers support needs almost immediately,” stated Scott Kowalik, President of TricycleFish Network Solutions. “Previously a customer would call the main office, report a problem and arrange for a service call. Now instead of waiting for a technician to arrive the technician can access the customer’s computer almost immediately upon receiving the call for support.”

TricycleFish when looking into what platform to use for its remote support backbone decided on GoToAssist from Citrix. “It was a really easy decision to make when looking at the different platforms that are currently available. Citrix has been around for awhile and has a great reputation in the industry. Their platform is extremely reliable, secure and flexible,” says Kowalik. “We not only have the ability to respond to our clients support needs immediately during the course of the business day, but we can also set up unattended support enabling TricycleFish to work on a client’s computer or network during non-business hours. The unattended support feature allows us to take care of maintenance tasks that would be very disruptive to our customers if they were done during work hours.”

According to Kowalik remote support is very secure and TricycleFish can only access a customer’s computer or network with their permission. The program can also be configured to uninstall after a support session has ended leaving no unwanted “residue” on the customer’s computer.
