For the first time, the Joint Commission’s 2011 annual report on quality and safety, Improving America’s Hospitals, lists hospitals that are top performers in using evidence-based care processes closely linked to positive patient outcomes. More than 50 of these distinguished healthcare providers use one or more software solutions from HealthLine Systems.

These healthcare providers were recognized by The Joint Commission for attained and sustained excellence in accountability measure performance during calendar year 2010. The program is based on data reported about evidence-based clinical processes for certain conditions, including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care and children’s asthma.
