Wordpress enables us to spend more time creating content and less time managing it. -- Will Spencer, MemeBridge CEO

The popular firearms web site Gun-Shots recently completed an upgrade from the original homegrown CMS (Content Management System) on which it was built to the industry-standard Wordpress platform.
Gun Shots began in 2008 as a spin-off of Fort Liberty. All of the technical firearms-related content moved from FortLiberty.org to Gun-Shots.net, while all of the political commentary remained on the original site.
The Wordpress platform was chosen over competing content management systems due to it's easy of use, maintainability, performance, and search engine friendliness. MemeBridge, the parent company of Gun Shots, operates more than fifty major web publications on the Wordpress platform. Will Spencer, the CEO of MemeBridge, states "After extensive experience with other leading CMS platforms, we have chosen Wordpress as our primary content management system."
The next phase for Gun Shots is a complete refresh of all content, along with incremental design improvements to optimize usability.
