Group Deal site Ponocu takes the hassle out of finding the best local daily deals by aggregating them all in one place.

Group deals websites are cropping up like weeds these days, making it hard for shoppers to choose among too many options, which is why successful web entrepreneur Nathaniel Newton has launched a new website to cut through all of the clutter.

The daily deal website aggregates the best deals from all of the major group buying and daily deal sites in one place for nine major cities, including New York, San Francsico, Chicago, and many others.

“I buy something every day from daily deal sites,” explained Nathaniel Newton, founder of “I created this site because I didn't want to log in to 30 different deal sites to check what they had to offer every day. I don’t want to read 30 emails or receive dozens of text messages on deals.”

Instead, Ponucu presents a clean, simple interface which allows people to scan the daily deals at a glance and select those that interest them.

“I've tried others aggregator sites and found that they were confusing and cluttered, and they frequently want you to take the time to create an account, give them your email address and personal information, go to your email account to click on a link and confirm, go back to their site to login...Ponocu is free and open, we don't want your personal information. Ponocu doesn't make you jump through hoops to find a deal. It's designed to be fast, easy and simple,” Newton said.

Newton, a 34-year-old New York native, went to the Global Institute of Technology in New York and is a veteran in the web development industry at a young age. He was the creator of successful sites and, both launched in 2004 and later sold.

Ponocu will soon be available as an ipad and iphone app, and all major cities across the United States will be added to the group deals site.
