American Reading Company Names Tiffany Flores as Account Manager for Fort Worth and Central Texas

Bruce Bierwirth, EVP of Sales for American Reading Company, announced today that Tiffany Flores has been named Account Manager for Fort Worth and Central Texas. In this position, Ms. Flores will work to expand the company’s nationally recognized award-winning programs to more school districts in Texas. Today, more than a million students in 2,100 schools across 420 districts in 41 states participate in the company’s programs. State standards serve as the structural model for all American Reading Company instructional resources and professional development solutions, which include ACTION 100 and 100 BOOK CHALLENGE.
For over a decade, Ms. Flores has worked in education in the state of Texas for Arlington ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, and Fort Worth ISD, where she most recently served as the Bilingual/ESL Literacy Coach. In this role, Ms. Flores assisted the school leadership and instructional staff in implementing literacy instruction programs that were aligned with state and district standards, curriculum frameworks, and assessments.
“Tiffany is a remarkably enthusiastic addition to our sales team,” said Bierwirth. “Her extensive education experience, particularly in bilingual/ESL programs in Texas, will be a valuable asset for district partners in designing reading programs that meet local and state requirements. Ms. Flores was born in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Medical Anthropology from the University of Texas in Arlington, where she also obtained provisional Certifications in Generalist Early Childhood, Bilingual/ESL Generalist Early Childhood, and Secondary Spanish. She obtained her Master Degree in Educational Leadership at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where she was selected to serve as a committee member for Bilingual Educator Standards by the Texas Education Agency/Educational Testing Service.
