We pride ourselves on finding the newest home decors, colors and trends and building vintage displays around these elements. We aren’t your grandma’s bazaar!
Beaverton, OR (PRWEB) September 22, 2011
Portland area shoppers looking for uncommon antiques, artison goods and gift ideas in a truly unique venue and setting will be treated to the 30th anniversary of the Fall Brookhaven Vintage Marketplace October 6-13 in the Kinton Grange Hall 19015 SW Scholls Ferry Road Beaverton (5.5 miles west of Washington Square).
Housed in a historic 1917 Grange hall, Brookhaven Marketplace showcases two full floors of vintage and antiques, primitives, local artist hand-crafts, seasonal home decor, local gourmet foods, and other gift ideas in a gorgeous country setting. Admission is free.
"In honor of our 30th anniversary we thought it was time for a new name," said Lynette Covert, Brookhaven Marketplace owner. "It's very much the same beautiful show as in previous years, but the word bazaar is old-fashioned and doesn’t represent how we have evolved over the years. We pride ourselves on finding the newest home decors, colors and trends and building vintage displays around these elements. We aren’t your grandma’s bazaar!"
Covert pointed out that the event spends months searching for, screening and selecting fresh new artists and the best in local gourmet food to keep each event new.
And for the first time ever, Brookhaven Vintage Marketplace will be giving away special gifts with each purchase - as well as reusable shopping totes for the first 300 customers who spend $30 or more.
The show will also be hosting a special Preview night Wednesday, October 5 from 5-8 pm. For a $2 admission (which is donated to local food bank FISH), shoppers can have first glimpse at all items and early shopping privileges.
Regular show dates and times for Brookhaven Vintage Marketplace are as follows:
October 6-15, 2011
