Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) September 22, 2011
Incognito Software, an industry leader of broadband provisioning and service fulfillment solutions, announced the availability of the TR-069 Open Interoperability Program, an online program aimed at facilitating TR-069 interoperability hurdles for device vendors and communication service providers.
This innovative free and open program assures that devices which have successfully passed the test meet basic TR-069 standards as defined by the Broadband World Forum and can be fully managed by the Incognito Auto Configuration Server. The program will help Service Providers reduce integration costs and provide them with greater flexibility to work in multi-vendor environments. Device Vendors will benefit from the simplified online testing process and be able to claim interoperability with the Incognito Auto Configuration Server.
"We have been impressed by the quick turnaround of Incognito’s TR-069 Open Interoperability Program," said Eli Baruch, Senior Director, Product Management at ARRIS. "After our Touchstone Gateway products completed testing with the Incognito Auto Configuration Server, our customers were able to begin managing our client devices right away.”
“The quick turn around and the ease of certifying ARRIS’ Touchstone Telephony Wireless Gateway TG862 and TG852 was impressive, and a testimony to the benefits to our online testing program,” said Chris Busch CTO of Incognito Software.
Other companies and customers have participated in the program to confirm interoperability with dozens of device models from vendors such as ARRIS, AVM, D-Link, Greenpacket, Netgear, Ruckus Wireless, Technicolor or Zyxel.
“As a leader in the industry, Incognito is extending its reach to strengthen interoperability across a broader range of vendor devices,” said Stephane Bourque, President and CEO of Incognito Software. “This program continues Incognito’s commitment to supporting the greatest range of devices for its Service Provider customer base, giving them greater options to deploy devices based on their needs without being tied to one specific vendor.”
