In response to user feedback and reviews by several experts in content marketing, social media, and software, CurationSoft now offers a completely free version of their curation app.
The new free version includes:
-Google blog search with the ability to find content from any blog on the web and drag-and-drop into any html editor, any platform.
-Ad-supported version allows users to use as long as they wish or until they want to add more content sources like YouTube, Twitter, Google News, or Flickr.
“We're excited about this because it means we can get the software into more users' hands,” says CurationSoft developer Brandon Hall. “Once they use it, they know whether it is for them or not. Or, rather, whether curation is for them or not.”
A stated goal of CurationSoft is to become the web's number one curation tool for content marketers and news bloggers. The focus is on publishers who want to save time researching and curating content for their blogs and social networks in contrast to the raft of personal news aggregation tools that have popped up in recent years.
“We're looking at a number of new features in our coming updates which will help users make their curated content look great as well as adding new sources of news, images, and other content,” says Jack Humphrey, CEO of CurationSoft. “I just got out of a brainstorm session with the team and what we're developing now for future versions is nothing short of mind-blowing. I can't wait to put this powerful tool into the hands of content marketers and watch what incredible things they do with it.”
CurationSoft's licensing system has also been simplified with 1-year single and group licenses.
