Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 22, 2011
Ifbyphone®, the leader in voice-based marketing automation, has been selected as one of the 75 finalists for the 2011 Chicago Innovation Awards. Nominations were extremely competitive this year, as the program received more than 400 entries. This represents an increase of more than 60% over the past two years.
The Chicago Innovation Awards, celebrating its 10th year, is the region’s foremost recognition of the most innovative new products or services brought to market or to public service each year.
Ifbyphone is recognized for its powerful, first-of-its-kind voice-based marketing automation platform. Pioneered by Ifbyphone, voice-based marketing automation is a rapidly growing technology category due to its ability to handle the challenges that traditional marketing automation has struggled with: managing, measuring and automating voice interactions.
“Ifbyphone’s voice-based marketing automation platform provides marketers with an enormously powerful toolset that enables them to drive efficiency and sales within their business,” said Irv Shapiro, CEO of Ifbyphone. “We’re excited to see this technology represented among Chicago’s top innovations, further representing Ifbyphone’s value proposition of giving companies the ability to reduce sales cycle time, improve revenues, reduce customer churn and increase customer referrals.”
As an important and often ignored segment with marketers, voice-based marketing automation services enhance a company’s ability to fully measure and optimize the effectiveness of their online, offline and voice-based marketing initiatives. With Ifbyphone, companies track advertising, enable intelligent call forwarding to any voice device, rapidly deploy virtual call centers to support new customer initiatives, and automate customer notifications. All Ifbyphone services integrate with existing marketing automation, sales support and customer care systems via a flexible and easy-to-use application programming interface.
Each year ten winners are chosen from among the 75 finalists by a panel of judges reflecting a cross section of Chicago’s business community. In addition, each of the 75 finalists is automatically in the running for the annual “People’s Choice Award,” selected through online balloting at http://www.chicagoinnovationawards.com.
“The most important message of the Chicago Innovation Awards is one of confidence and courage,” said Thomas D. Kuczmarski, co-founder with Chicago journalist Dan Miller of the awards. “The economy is challenging but each nominee believes the simple truth that a powerful new product will find a rewarding market and has the courage to pursue their vision.”
The finalists are also each awarded a scholarship to attend a day-long executive education program titled “The Practical Innovator,” taught at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
The ten winners will be announced Tuesday, November 8th and celebrated at an event at Chicago’s Harris Theater that evening.
