Milwaukee’s celebrity Chef Michael Feker offers local food lovers a fresh new dinner menu at his Italian restaurant IL MITO Enoteca in Milwaukee. Feker’s Meditalian-inspired menu is infused with flavors of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and accented by traditional Italian/Mediterranean cuisine.

Chef Michael Feker is a culinary innovator who has made it his mission to get people back to the dinner table; from his Italian restaurant IL MITO Enoteca, to his culinary studio, CMF’s School of Culinary Magic, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. His new dinner menu at IL MITO is infused with flavors of Wisconsin, inspired by heartwarming, traditional Italian/Mediterranean cuisine and finished with his imaginative Fekerlicious twist. Hearty greens, root vegetables, fresh Wisconsin cheeses, Wisconsin apples and featured Great Lakes fish have been incorporated into many of Chef Feker’s newest dishes.

Feker’s new dinner menu, along with his newly updated gluten-free dinner menu and his three-course dinner value menu are now available at IL MITO Enoteca, which is located at 6913 W. North Avenue in Milwaukee. Some highlights of Feker’s healthy and nutritious creations include a classic arancini appetizer stuffed with risotto, Wisconsin cheeses, Italian herbs and snow peas; a salad of fire-roasted bell peppers, fresh oregano and basil, accompanied by grilled beefsteak tomatoes, shaved red onion, fresh oregano, Moroccan green olives and crumbled, locally-crafted feta cheese; homemade gnocchi with Feker’s Family favorite lemon-scented veal meatballs, broccolini and caramelized onions in a creamy garlic sauce; and Feker’s family Recipe Revival Contest Winning apple wood bacon and Gorgonzola stuffed pork chops atop a caramelized apple brandy sauce served with Parmesan roasted potatoes and sautéed baby spinach.

“When you live in Wisconsin you are faced with limited fresh, local ingredients through the winter months. With flavor as a backbone, you can take this narrow range of ingredients and use them in diverse ways. The cuisine of an Enoteca is the simplest of Italian cuisines, made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients that create amazing, complex rustic flavor combinations. Feker’s Enoteca-style menu features homemade pastas, insalati (salads) Piatti Piccoli (small plates), Formaggi (cheeses), Bruschetta, Pizza and Secondi Rustica.
