Storyopolis Entertainment is proud to announce that, effective immediately, East West Literary Agency, LLC. (E/WL) is our literary liaison to the trade. Our mutual goal: to offer our talented authors and illustrators access to the best resources in the Publishing Industry. To that end, we invite our internationally renowned published Authors and Illustrators (as well as new authors and illustrators seeking a publisher for the first time) to submit material for review. Simply pull up our submission template on http://www.storyopolisentertainment.com  and follow the guidelines.

Much like best-selling picture books, the unique partnership between Storyopolis Entertainment and E/WL melds content with artistry. Kristine and Matthew Abramowitz, owners of Storyopolis Entertainment, have over fifteen years of experience in selling and promoting art, launching children's books and spearheading author/illustrator events. E/WL, headed by Deborah Warren and partner agent Rubin Pfeffer, is one of the most respected Literary Agencies in our industry: by way of note; the New York Times picture book bestseller list dated 9.11.11 includes four of their books: Anna Dewdney’s LLAMA LLAMA HOME WITH MAMA in the #1 spot, James Dean and Eric Litwin’s PETE THE CAT: ROCKING IN MY SCHOOL SHOES and PETE THE CAT: I LOVE MY WHITE SHOES, along with DREAM BIG LITTLE PIG!, illustrated by Tim Bowers.

“Throughout their storied careers, Matthew and Kristine Abramowitz have been fiercely loyal advocates of their represented talent. The partnership between us further expands upon our mutual expertise for guiding, inspiring, and developing talent to a new level. We are delighted to join forces with Storyopolis Entertainment to continue to follow our passion of finding, selling, and positioning quality books in many different markets and through various channels of distribution to the trade,” says agency founder and former Harcourt VP/Director of Sales Deborah Warren.

Based in Los Angeles, California, East/West Literary Agency, LLC was founded in 2000.

E/WL represents a wide range of New York Times bestselling and Best Illustrated, award-winning Newbery and Caldecott medalists…as well as a diverse list of accomplished, award winning adult authors and talent—including this year’s Eisner Award Winner for best graphic novel.
