Ronna Farley’s “Get Saucy Wingettes” recipe was selected as the winner of The Vinegar Institute’s Online Recipe Sweepstakes for June through September.
A Rockville, Maryland resident, Farley has been a grocery store cashier for 26 years. “I loved creating this recipe for this contest,” said Farley. “I enjoy serving chicken wings and, for my ‘Get Saucy Wingettes,’ I put together ingredients that I thought my family would enjoy! They all loved it and I’m sure I’ll be making it for years to come.”
Sara Marshalek is a finalist for her “Peanut Butter Panko Crusted Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic (Vinegar) Grape Jam Reduction.” A mother of four, Marshalek loves cooking and entertaining. “I really love taking ordinary recipes and elevating them into something truly unique,” said Marshalek. Her dream job would be to open a small restaurant or a trendy food truck.
And Amy Tong of Anaheim, California is also a finalist for her “Orange Duck Salad”. Tong owns her own blog, uTry.it, where she samples a meal or item from an eating establishment, recreates the dish at home and shares the recipe with family and friends. Tong was born and raised in Hong Kong prior to moving to California in her late teenage years. She has a highly-developed palate for well prepared, high quality dishes.
