Ciracom’s business has grown over 30 percent in the last two years, and despite economic turmoil, our customer retention remains at 97 percent.

Ciracom, Inc., an IT solutions provider based out of Alexandria, Virginia, says that although the latest optimism index published by the National Federation of Independent Business’s paints a grim picture, small IT businesses have reason to be hopeful.

“We’ve seen the IT industry change drastically over the last 12 years,” says Amy Rutt, the company’s Chief Executive Officer. “A report published by industry analyst Gartner, forecasted that the cloud computing industry would grow from $56.3 billion in 2009 to $150.1 billion in 2013 – this is what drives our optimism and confidence in the market. We plan to meet the oncoming demand by continuing to invest in our people and our community.”

Ciracom, founded in 1999 as a woman-owned 8(a) small disadvantaged business, was built on the idea that the internet could be used as an operating system to deliver innovative IT services. As an early implementer of cloud computing, Ciracom continues to operate on the principle that service and technology go hand-in-hand with providing the most effective, secure and robust technology solutions.

“Ciracom’s business has grown over 30 percent in the last two years, and despite economic turmoil, our customer retention remains at 97 percent,” said Polly Ritter, the company’s Director of Marketing. “We might be an exception to NFIB’s study – we’re very optimistic in the growth of our company.”

Recently Ciracom has observed an increase in demand for its cloud-based backup and recovery services, powered by Asigra. In March, the company expanded to offer cloud backup and recovery for data protection on servers, desktops and mobile devices such as Androids, tablets and laptops. Ciracom Cloud Backup is an agentless solution that is encrypted under the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s FIPS 140-2 security certification.
