Anaqua, a leading provider of intellectual asset management software and services, today introduced a new version of its ANAQUA Essential solution for IP law firms with major new capabilities for client billing, online client services and configurable attorney dashboards.

A new Time and Billing module allows firms to capture billable hours and other expenses for each client matter. Invoices can be generated from these for review and distribution to clients, with multi-currency support for billing international clients in their preferred currency. The ANAQUA report builder provides flexible reporting on client billing as well as management of utilization, realization and other score card metrics.

This new release also provides user-customizable home pages and views configured from a selection of gadgets and dashboard reports. Partners and attorneys can set up key performance indicators and other graphical reports as well as bookmarks for records, searches and additional reports so that they have immediate access to the information they need. Docketers have the same flexibility plus major new calendar management features so they can manage their docket more efficiently and conveniently.

ANAQUA Essential also includes a new Client Portal for delivering client portfolio reports and status information. The Portal can also be used to allow online client requests for legal services.

This release also includes significant enhancements to the ANAQUA country rules, including a unique calculator for US patent expiration dates taking into account earliest effective filed date, terminal disclaimers and patent term adjustments. With its unique One-Page Docketing™, Citations Matrix, IDS Management and Forms management capabilities, ANAQUA Essential is a very powerful solution for attorneys, paralegals and docketers alike.
