About the Author
Ann Valery’s mother insists she started talking at ten months and hasn’t shut up since. So it was no surprise that she became a lecturer to nurses, diabetic patients - anyone who would listen, in fact. She went on to become a Hospital CEO and later CEO of a Medical Peak Body based in Canberra. Along life’s journey she has also been a registered nurse, shop owner, dressmaker, and even a budding artist. Her father is proud of her Master’s degree; the author is more proud of her qualifications and experience from the school of hard knocks. She lives with her selectively deaf husband on their farm in the beautiful Bega Valley.
