Alpari (US), LLC (“Alpari”), a global provider of online foreign exchange trading services, today announces the appointment of Cheryl Friedlander Turner to the QuantumFX business in the role of Vice President of Institutional Sales. QuantumFX, the institutional arm of Alpari, is a next-generation foreign exchange trading platform. Launched in January of this year, the QuantumFX business has experienced tremendous growth. The team has been expanded to meet the demand from market participants seeking competitive pricing, true anonymity, and a high-level of customer client service.

Based in Chicago, Cheryl will be in charge of managing regional relationships as well as driving new institutional trading business within the local market.

Cheryl brings to Alpari over 18 years of experience in the financial markets, during which time she has grown with and mastered the complexities of today’s technology based trading industry. Cheryl has experience developing risk controls and FX trading strategies for several trading desks. In her most recent role as Senior Trader at a leading trading firm, she created and managed the FX cash and futures desk and was the lead algorithmic trader. Cheryl was a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade, Eurex, Xetra and is Series 3 and Series 7 licensed. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Economics from Indiana University.
