Construction Journal, a privately owned provider of information to the commercial and residential construction industry, is pleased to announce that it has acquired the assets of Works in Progress (“WIP”), a similar information provider based in South Burlington, VT. The acquisition increases Construction Journal’s coverage into the New England states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York State.

Construction Journal, founded in 1996, provides its customers access to a comprehensive database of construction opportunities and related plans and specifications from project conception to operation for the public and private sectors. “The acquisition of Works in Progress brings us tenured staff to strengthen our research operations and increases our coverage area. “WIP” customers will benefit from our proven and proprietary technology,” said Rich Goldman, President and Founder of Construction Journal.

Located in South Burlington, VT, Works in Progress is a 20-year old local provider of construction information to the New England marketplace. “I found a company who values and cares for their customers as much as I do.
