IEG Adds Integrated Marketing Veteran Matt Petersen To Consulting Group Leadership Team

Matt Petersen has joined IEG as vice president, client leadership, IEG Consulting Group, effective immediately. He is based at the company’s Chicago headquarters.

IEG, LLC—guiding brands and properties for more than 30 years in optimizing their involvements in sponsorship—has hired an experienced executive to expand the company’s ability to bring its unparalleled insights and counsel to a wide array of organizations.

Matt Petersen has joined IEG as vice president, client leadership, IEG Consulting Group, effective immediately. He is based at the company’s Chicago headquarters.

Petersen joins IEG following four years at Momentum Worldwide, where as director of business leadership he was responsible for key client management—integrating agency services, strategic planning and new business generation—and served as primary lead on the U.S. Army, ExxonMobil & Office Depot accounts.

His career includes experience securing millions of dollars in new sponsorship revenue for sports properties, managing national sponsorship programs for a wide variety of sponsors and integrating traditional marketing practices with digital platforms.

Petersen has worked for Don Schumacher Racing, Relay Sports & Event Marketing and TruServ Corp. (True Value) among others.
