About the Author
Stacey Elliott, known as “Sissy” by her nieces and nephews, was born and raised in the small town of Crete, Illinois. She works as a freelance designer and enjoys making up silly stories, songs, and rhymes. Elliott loves the color blue, singing songs, and monkeys too. What Kind of Bread Does A Monkey Eat? is her first published book. The idea for this book originated from the little ones in the “pointing stage”. She has already started working on the next book featuring the same silly little monkey.
About the Illustrator
Rob Goode, born and raised in South Holland, Ill., has been a lifelong artist. Goode is known to use anything that makes a mark (from rocks to eyeliner) to create stunning images. His compulsive drawing and painting has brought him into many different artistic fields. By request of the author, he agreed to illustrate his first children´s book, “What Kind Of Bread Does A Monkey Eat?” Finding so much enjoyment from doing so, he’s already started on the next book with Elliott.
