Houston pool builder Platinum Pools was recently ranked 6th in Pool and Spa News’ August 2011 issue. The periodical annually ranks the top 50 pool builders in the nation based on yearly revenue, and this latest publication places Platinum Pools two spots higher than their previous ranking.
“We’re very excited to be recognized by this prestigious publication, and to be ranked among the top pool builders in the nation,” says Platinum Pools owner and philanthropist Scott Waldo. In the last year, Platinum Pools has risen to the forefront of the industry as a provider of quality pools and an innovator in customer relations. On Saturdays, Houstonians can listen to Waldo’s radio show on KSEV 700 where he discusses pool issues and residents are invited to call in with questions. Customers are also invited to interact with Platinum Pools’ professionals through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
Platinum Pools is also committed to pool safety for the entire community. Every month, Platinum Pools offers free CPR training courses, and around 20 people are certified every month. These classes are offered at no cost and students benefit from learning life saving techniques. Classes are offered one Saturday every month at 10:00am and 2:00pm and are led by an American Red Cross Instructor. Each participant will learn adult, child and infant CPR and when the class is completed each student will receive a 2 year certification. Platinum Pools recently opened a new service department that provides not only warranty service but also service to customers who are already pool owners. Lead by Quality Assurance Manager Wanda Terrell and Head Technician Larry Escamilla, the service department is already seeing amazing growth. “Customers enjoy the professional level of service we provide to their in ground pools and the knowledge that we are not only a service company, but a builder that knows pools inside and out,” says Terrell.
