“The 3-D Hurricane: How Debt, Deficits and Demographics Affect your Investments and Where to Seek Shelter” will be presented by Rob Arnott, Chairman and CEO of Research Affiliates at the Women’s Investing in Security and Education (WISE) Signature Luncheon at the Center Club in Costa Mesa on October 11, 2011. Arnott, one of the world’s most provocative and respected financial analysts, will explain the long-term investment implications and where investors should look to secure their financial futures. Mr. Arnott will be interviewed by Consuelo Mack of WealthTrack, acclaimed “The Best Money TV Host” by Money magazine.

2011 marks Laura Tarbox's 32nd year in financial planning. A UCLA graduate, Laura received her CFP in 1984. She is President of The Tarbox Group, Inc., a fee-only registered investment advisory firm she founded in 1985. The Tarbox Group is located in Newport Beach, CA and employs a team approach in offering comprehensive wealth management services to families.

Ms. Tarbox has served on the Charles Schwab Institutional Advisory Board, the National Board of the ICFP, and as President of the Orange County ICFP. Laura also works as an expert witness and as a private fiduciary and family trustee.

About Susan King Riechel,
Susan Riechel is Managing Director of Fixed Income Investments, First Foundation Advisors and is responsible for directing the firm's actively managed fixed income strategy for high-net-worth individuals, foundations, endowments and retirement funds. In her role as managing director, she oversees the firm's taxable and non-taxable fixed income investments.

Ms. Riechel has over thirty years of experience in investment management and banking. Prior to joining First Foundation, she was Managing Director - Fixed Income at Covington Capital Management in Los Angeles. Formerly Ms. Riechel was also Managing Director at Columbia Management, a successor firm to U.S. Trust Company where she was Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income serving offices on the West Coast.

Ms. Riechel started her investment management career at First Interstate Bank where she was Director of Institutional Asset Management - Fixed Income. She began her banking career at Lloyds Bank PLC, New York and was formerly the head of global funding at Security Pacific Bank. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from University of New Hampshire, Durham. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Banking from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University.
