Online applications are now open for entrepreneurs interested in The Unreasonable Institute’s2012 program. If accepted, these entrepreneurs live together under one roof, where they work with 50 world-class mentors, ranging from the CTO of HP, to the co-founder of Google.org, to an entrepreneur that enabled over 19 million people to move out of poverty. Unreasonable Fellows will pitch to one hundred potential investors, obtain legal advice and design consulting, form relationships with at least 20 impact investment funds, and prepare to launch profitable, globally scalable ventures that can serve the needs of at least one million people.
To collect their 2012 applicants’ information, The Unreasonable Institute started using WizeHive’s Application Management Software. With WizeHive, The Unreasonable Institute was able to build custom online forms to accept applications online. The applications received will be collaboratively reviewed, rated and ranked by The Unreasonable Institute through the secure, online network.
“As a start-up, we are big fans of The Unreasonable Institute,” says WizeHive CEO, Mike Levinson. “Companies that tackle social or environmental problems need to be profitable to be sustainable. It is great to see an accelerator take on the challenge of helping companies get to that point. We wish all the applicants good luck.”
"Selecting entrepreneurs is amongst the most important things we do at the Unreasonable Institute and having a system that makes that straightforward and flexible is vital. That's why we're excited to work with WizeHive this year!" adds Teju Ravilochan, Co-Founder and VP of Partnerships and Communication.
WizeHive offers a cloud-based platform that automates an organizations forms, workflows and business processes. These tools have been used to automate contests with WizeHive's Online Contest Software; scholarships with WizeHive's Scholarship Management Software; sales processes and more.
