Harbor Retirement Associates launches marketing division and celebrates 6th design award.

Harbor Retirement Associates celebrated its latest Award of Excellence from Graphic Design USA today as it launched its new Marketing Consulting Division.

HRA’s newly designed corporate brochure competed against 8,000 entries. Of those 8,000 entries less than 15% were recognized with an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA. This is the sixth win for HRA, and the fifteenth of Adamson’s career. Previous awards were given to HRA for website, brochure and logo designs. HRA COO, Marc Vorkapich, says, “HRA’s brochures and website often provide a first impression of our company. Under Michael’s direction, we achieved our goal to be ‘top of mind’ when a need for our services arose, and, through our consistent marketing campaigns we have successfully sparked interest and gained trust with our residents and families who benefit from our services.”

Director of Brand Strategy Michael Adamson agrees, “We’re always thrilled to be recognized by our peers for our creative work in the Senior Living sector. The timing of this award is especially satisfying because it comes on the heels of launching the new Marketing Consulting Division at HRA.”

The new division will work with clients across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. Adamson continues, “We are excited to share our vision and creative success with clients beyond senior living. We have the resources and agility to help a client from the initial stages of building a brand to stepping in to breathe new life into an outdated brand.” HRA will work with clients to increase brand awareness through integrated identity via website, advertising, direct mail design, online marketing and competitive analysis, as well as print production and print management.

Adamson’s career began in Seattle, Washington, where he honed his skills working for several of the prominent advertising agencies over a 7-year period. He later led the United States Tennis Associations’ creative team in developing advertising and marketing campaigns for the US Open Tennis Championships and other national tennis programs. While with the USTA, he won an APEX Award of Excellence for his work on the 2002 US Open Tennis Championships tournament. Michael’s move to HRA comes after a 6 year career with DHI Advertising and Design where he worked on a wide range of accounts such as Piper Aircraft, Inc., B/E Aerospace, Seacoast National Bank, and Abercrombie & Kent.
