Infinite Skills has released a second installment of its popular Autodesk Revit tutorial video series, focusing on advanced standards and extended construction and presentation techniques.

Video Training developer Infinite Skills has just launched an 11-hour Revit Architecture 2012 tutorial that emphasizes advanced skills not covered in the company's beginner Revit course. Again narrated and presented by architecture professional Jay Polding, the training features 106 lessons in topics such as AutoCAD interactivity, plan phasing and management, enhanced model presentation options and more.

"We couldn't have anticipated the excitement our first Revit course was going to bring," said Colin Boyd, sales director for Infinite Skills. "Not only did we have interest from the architecture community, but we also had many customers coming from contracting and real estate backgrounds. So now we're offering them even more."

The Revit Architecture 2012 Advanced tutorial video series has been created to go beyond fundamental design concepts into detailed industry best practices and professional standard workflows, working through more complex modeling functionality as well as template and automation techniques. By working through a highly detailed house plan, Revit tutorial viewers will learn how to properly set up a site plan, how to use linked Revit files, how to work through plan phasing, utilize advanced modeling features and more. The course concludes with detailed advice for presentation and collaboration, helping viewers prepare visually illustrative renders and walkthroughs that will impress clients and also use Worksharing functionality to interact with colleagues, respectively.

Learning Revit 2012 Architecture Advanced is narrated by Jay Polding, a widely respected architecture technology consultant and Autodesk Certified Implementation Expert (ICE). As a teacher and author, Jay has led sold-out workshops across North America, written numerous articles for industry publications and maintains his own community website, Revit in Plain English, which receives more than 8,000 readers per month.

"It's always great when we can connect leading industry experts with viewers at all stages of learning, all around the world," said Chris Johns, content coordinator at Infinite Skills. "Jay is not just a great teacher, but he truly understands Revit's role as it's used in commercial environments, and even his most basic tips come from a professional perspective."

This Revit Architecture 2012 Training Video Course features 23 chapters and 106 individual lessons. The tutorials are divided into short 5-10 minute lessons that encompass specialized areas of interest, making it easier for viewers to work the training into tight schedules and facilitating focused study and review. The video format includes datasets and project files that can be accessed within Revit 2012 so that viewers can follow the onscreen examples at every point of instruction.

The video course can be purchased on DVD-ROM or as a direct download; both editions retail for USD $99.95 and are offered worldwide. A full list of subjects covered can be found on the tutorial video product page, in addition to 12 free video lessons from the course:
