New Book Release Focuses on SharePoint 2010 as a Platform for Enterprise Content Management

SharePoint Experts Emphasize the ECM Capabilities Included in SharePoint 2010 That Will Assist With Workflow and Content Management

SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Content Management is a new book from Wrox Publishing, written by a team of experts who provide development strategies from real-world experience. The book is co-authored by Todd Kitta, Brett Grego, Chris Caplinger and Russ Houberg; all of whom currently hold a key role at KnowledgeLake, Inc., a SharePoint ISV that was awarded the title “2011 Microsoft Content Management Partner of the Year.”

Todd Kitta is a Senior Software Engineer at KnowledgeLake and this is his second Wrox publication. His first book, Professional Windows Workflow Foundation, was released in 2007. Brett Grego is the Director of Engineering at KnowledgeLake and has been developing SharePoint solutions for KnowledgeLake since 2005. Chris Caplinger is the CTO and one of the founders of KnowledgeLake. Russ Houberg is a SharePoint 2010 Microsoft Certified Master and a Senior Architect at KnowledgeLake.

This book takes a comprehensive look at how to optimize SharePoint 2010 for rich document management, records management, business process management and web content management. The authors provide real-world examples and code samples that build upon the ECM capabilities included in SharePoint Server 2010.

KnowledgeLake will host a book signing with the authors of SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Content Management during the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2011, in Anaheim, California and the book is available for purchase. In addition, two of the authors will be presenting at the conference; Chris Caplinger - "Getting Ready for the Cloud – Is your Content Strategy Partly Cloudy?" and Russ Houberg - "Scaling SharePoint Records Centers to Terabytes and Beyond – Part 1".
