Vivid illustrations, imagination, the art of storytelling, and a lingering message await readers in this Xlibris release

Although children today can take part in an endless variety of activities, they must not crowd out an essential kind of play for their development – imagination. Now, young readers, aged four to eight, are in for a magical and mesmerizing experience as author Laura M. Disbro blends vivid illustrations, a lot of imagination, and the art of storytelling into her new picture book.

“I believe in dreams so my inspiration mostly comes from my belief that dreams do come true,” Disbro shares. In this book, Adventures with Miss Lola: The Magic Paper Ride, she takes readers on an enchanting ride that leaves a lingering message, “If you believe in your dreams, they can come true.”

The children’s book begins as the children arrive at the library just in time for story time, and they have no idea that they are in for an adventure of a lifetime. Storyteller Miss Lola takes the children on a real life adventure they will never forget. The children use their fairy dust to make sentences, so when they go back to the library, they can make their own storybook.

Creative, magical, educational as well, Adventures with Miss Lola: The Magic Paper Ride is a bonding tool for parents and children that will fuel their imagination and make them believe in their dreams.

This book will be featured at the 2011 Frankfurt Book Exhibit in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 12 to 16, 2011.
