James Oliver Conservatories of Lincoln have witnessed a huge surge in business since they became part of Conservatory Outlet’s growing nationwide network of dealers.
For the last 25 years in Lincoln the word ‘conservatories’ has been synonymous with one man’s name. Now, if you type in any variation of the words ‘conservatory’ and ‘Lincoln’ in to Google, the same man’s name appears. The former is down to years of hard work, an excellent reputation and consequent word of mouth promotion. The latter is thanks to Conservatory Outlet. The name, of course, is James Oliver.
James Oliver Conservatories has long been a successful business; it’s a family owned company that has stood the test of time, thriving in the good times and the bad. In the latter stages of 2010, founder Jim Oliver and sons Will and Tom made the collective decision to join forces with Conservatory Outlet, much to the delight of Conservatory Outlet sales director Greg Kane whose self-imposed remit is to build a national network of only the best regional installers from across the UK.
The result for James Oliver Conservatories has been an average 50% increase in conservatory sales compared to 2010 – including a month during which it averaged one conservatory sale per day, an even bigger increase in sales of double glazing and doors, and a constant supply of leads from the one source that Jim, Will and Tom had yet to master; the internet. In Jim’s own words, the decision to join Conservatory Outlet has been “a great move”.
Greg Kane says: “Internet lead generation on behalf of our dealers is one of the main ways that we distinguish ourselves as a supplier. Some installers do not have the necessary infrastructure and are not equipped to cope with the volume of leads that we generate but James Oliver Conservatories was perfectly placed to do so, which is why the company has enjoyed quick success since joining the Conservatory Outlet network.”
