"We’re thrilled to be recognized by the Web Marketing Association in the markets that we specialize in."
Melville, NY (PRWEB) September 28, 2011
Loewy Design won a 2011 Web Marketing Association “Outstanding Website” Award for its design of the Bren-Tronics website. Overall, the interactive agency won four awards for website design, including:
Bren-Tronics: “Online Catalogue Outstanding Website”
Aspiranet: “Non-Profit Standard of Excellence”
The Club Card: “Shopping Standard of Excellence”
QuickComm: “Telecommunication Standard of Excellence”
The agency is delighted to be acknowledged and honored by the WMA internationally among top interactive agencies. “We’re thrilled to be recognized by the Web Marketing Association in the markets that we specialize in. Providing design and technology solutions for online stores and clients in the technology field has been one of our main areas of focus in 2010 and 2011 and will be our focus going forward in 2012,” stated David Loewy, president of Loewy Design. “We’re always looking for ways to give back to the community through our work with nonprofits, so it’s very gratifying to be recognized in the nonprofit category as well.”
Loewy Design is a full-service interactive agency specializing in online strategy, design, and technology. In 2009 Loewy Design won a Web Marketing Association “Best in Class” WebAward for its own website redesign, along with an abundance of other honors and awards throughout its diverse client verticals.
A WMA judge described Bren-Tronics as an “excellent site for a utilitarian product range.” Loewy Design established a new online brand for Bren-Tronics with an intuitive user interface and comprehensive content. The agency leveraged the Magento eCommerce platform for an interactive catalogue with easy access to the wide array of Bren-Tronics’ military battery merchandise. Another judge noted, “The simplicity and focus are great to help streamline the ordering experience and get visitors to the right content. They do a nice job explaining why their products are the best and utilizing the standard product detail functionality on each individual product page, which is really helpful in making a final decision.”
The WMA has been setting the standard for website design for almost fifteen years. It assigns several judges to act as users; the judges navigate through each site and evaluate every entry on seven criteria, each of which is worth up to 10 points. The highest score attainable is a 70; scores of 60 or above are given “Outstanding Website” Awards in their respective industries. Bren-Tronics scored 62, 8.6 points higher than the WebAward average.
