LabHead Brand

We love Labs of course and that’s how the brand got started, we are thrilled to be able to do our small part to help support the breed we love with a portion of every sale going to support Lab rescue.

The Labrador retriever apparel company with the Lab head logo “LabHead” has launched a new website and blog. The new website and blog is a way for consumers to get the products directly from the maker and also for retailers looking to stock the brand in their stores. The folks at Labhead are also looking to get the word out about their new commitment to Labrador causes with a portion of all sales being donated to lab rescue programs in Colorado.
In speaking with Labhead co-founder Mark Bowman, “We wanted to expand the brand awareness and help the Labrador community at the same time, we have revamped our product line with a whole new line of caps which have always been our best sellers but now include a twill, mesh or “cool cap” and oil cloth option.” The Colorado based company has also started a new blog for Labs called Labradors Forever where they post articles about the breed and offer tips on care and training. They also invite visitors to post their own Lab stories and pictures to share with the community.

The Labrador breed has been the most popular dog breed in North America for the last 20 years+ and there is no sign of the popularity slipping. The popularity of the breed also creates its own set of issues however with people not understanding the nature of Labradors, which require a lot of exercise throughout their life and early training techniques that curtail the common problem of separation anxiety many Labs have. As is common with many dog breeds people think a puppy is cute but as the dog grows it becomes an issue because of a lack of understanding or expectations. Labradors absolutely require an active lifestyle or they will inevitably develop behavior issues that can be hard to break. It’s when these instances occur that make Lab rescue programs so important and necessary. Rather than just sending the dog to the pound where it may get returned again only to be euthanized, there is a whole network of programs designed to find good homes for labs.

With the launch of the new website and blog Labhead is poised for a great holiday sales season and expects to see a big spike in orders. “We always see a good increase in sales leading up to and through the holidays but we expect this year the demand will be higher than years past just based on the early feedback we have received from retailers already stocking the new items.” Bowman continued, “We love Labs of course and that’s how the brand got started, we are thrilled to be able to do our small part to help support the breed we love with a portion of every sale going to support Lab rescue.” Labhead is donating 5% of all profits to Colorado lab rescue programs, if you are interested in donating directly please visit the website.

If you are a retailer looking to add the Labhead brand of lab t-shirts, lab hats and gear to your offerings or if you’re just a fan of Labradors, make sure you visit the new Labhead website at or post your favorite Lab story or photo on their blog at and support your local Labrador!
