Mollen Immunization Clinics, the nation’s largest independent mass immunizer announced today that on Friday, September 23 they delivered their one millionth influenza immunization since clinics began on September 1.

“Our goal is to improve the health of America one immunization at a time, and we are proud that in the first 23 days of our season, we have taken one million steps toward that goal,” said John Roehm, Mollen’s CEO. “Now that flu season is in full swing, and there is heightened coverage in the media and awareness among the population as a whole, we hope that more Americans take the important step of getting a flu shot to protect their health as well as the health of their family and community.”

Mollen began operating immunization clinics on September 1 and plans to run approximately 150,000 clinics by year’s end. Mollen is employing over 40,000 nurses to execute clinics in all fifty states. Clinics will be held at retailers, employers, schools, churches and other community locations.

Mollen is a contracted immunization provider for most major insurance plans including Medicare part B. As a result, most individuals can receive their flu shot with no co-pay and at no out-of-pocket expense.

Individuals can visit to find clinic locations, services offered and pre-register for immunizations. Individuals may also walk-in to any clinic location without an appointment.
