The 'Best Companies for Leaders' survey solicits opinions from business leaders worldwide to help institute benchmarks for best practices in leadership development

For the second consecutive year Chally Group Worldwide and Chief Executive magazine have partnered to lead the premier 2011 Global Leadership Research project featuring "Best Companies for Leaders." This research study exemplifies the principal effort toward identifying and recognizing excellence in leadership development that will help drive business results.

This compelling study is conducted by extracting key data from top business leaders and HR executives around the world on a range of business issues relating to leadership development. The research also intends to assist organizations keep abreast of best practices and key trends for leadership development on a global basis.

Through the survey, Chally will monitor and track:

  • Types of formal leadership development programs
  • CEO involvement in leadership development programs
  • Internal and external leadership recruiting practices
  • Other specific companies participants would consider as developing excellent leaders
  • The processes and metrics participants use in association with leadership development or succession planning

  • The specialized but critical competencies for various leadership roles
  • The most likely sources for CEO positions

The research methodology has been developed and refined by a team of experts in applied research and will incorporate feedback from former winners to further outline emerging trends in how companies must design and execute leadership development practices in today's global business environment.
