Drilling activities in the highly prolific Wattenberg Field yields Leland Energy, Inc., its partners, and associates, a total of 4 commercially successful completions.

Leland Energy, Inc. - LEI, through its wholly owned subsidiary Leland Colorado Holdings, Inc., announces the completion of their No. 3 and No. 4, both of which are Oil and Gas wells, in Weld County, Colorado. This highly prolific field in the Denver - Julesburg (DJ) Basin is yielding LEI, its partners, and associates, a total of 4 commercially successful completions on the Ranchers Johnson lease.

All wells drilled, with the exception of the No. 1, will produce from the Codell and the Niobrara formations. LEI has scheduled 2 additional wells to be drilled on this lease with their associate, Ranchers Exploration Partners LLC. In addition, they are starting to inventory additional acreage in this very active Wattenberg field.

“Having sold over 1000 bbls thus far for the month of September tells us that we have a couple of pretty good wells. This doesn’t even include the natural gas. We are enthusiastic about our drilling operations in this market,” states Mr. Lon Stein, V.P., Client Relations.
