Audible Rush™ Inc., maker of the industry's first full-featured stereo bicycle music dock for smartphones, today launched its online store at http://www.audiblerush.com and began shipment of the company’s Jam-Pac™ music systems.
The Audible Rush Jam-Pac™ music system embeds a smartphone/MP3 docking station, speakers, amplifier and USB charger inside a quick release handlebar bag designed for bicycles, jogging strollers, and other recreational activities. The company's products deliver automotive quality sound without headphones. This makes riding more fun, improves safety and enhances exercise effectiveness for all types of riders, including recreation, performance, long distance, and commuters.
The concept for Jam-Pac™ originated when co-founder and CEO Marc Nussbaum wanted to enjoy tunes during his cycling treks in Southern California. “I tried bungee cords, tie wraps and duct tape to rig an MP3 player to my handlebars. It was cumbersome, unattractive and sounded terrible,” said Nussbaum. “Then I tried every ‘bicycle music system’ I could find – but none had good sound quality or the features necessary to be safe for cyclists.”
"Consumers expect to use their smartphones, social media, playlists, and streaming channels 24x7, whatever they are doing.” said Nussbaum. “Audible Rush has designed an entirely new class of music system that allows today’s avid cyclist, occasional recreational rider or parent out with a jogging stroller to stay connected."
Jam-Pac™ combines state-of-the-art digital amplifier technology, weather resistant speakers and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, all inside a quick-release handlebar bag with room to carry a wallet, keys, light jacket, book and more. At break time, simply take the Jam-Pac™ with you, along with your phone and valuables.
Jam-Pac™ works with all MP3 players and phones including iPods™, iPhones™, Android™ phones, and Blackberrys™. Smartphone users can stream Internet music and navigate with GPS. Select phones can answer incoming calls over the speakers and can also be charged over USB, ensuring power is available for important calls.
Riding a bicycle with headphones is dangerous and also illegal in California, New York and many other states. Audible Rush eliminates headphones. Jam-Pac™ stereo speakers are positioned up-front and angled towards the rider. This allows private listening at moderate volume without disturbing others and helps maintain awareness of your surroundings.
"Adding music to cycling makes us want to ride more,” stated Sherri Besser, VP of Operations. “There is an urgency to get our children and loved ones back on bikes. Lifestyle diseases like obesity and type II diabetes can be mitigated by regular physical activities such as cycling – improving our lives and reducing health care costs."
"Adding music to my bike riding made it an entirely new experience", said Connie Kuberski an executive of EmbreeAV, a Corona, California audio-video specialty installation company. "The sound quality of the Jam-Pac Premium™ just blew me away. Musical detail was better than my car stereo system and is by far the best sounding battery powered music dock I've ever heard."
Founded in 2009, Audible Rush delivers a safe, first class music experience to cyclists and other outdoor recreation enthusiasts. Visit http://www.audiblerush.com to learn more.
