According to data provided by the online travel agency Destinia.com, British citizens who have travelled to Spain during the summer holidays have spent, on average, more money on their hotel and flight reservations than in 2010. During the months of June, July and August, British tourists who have visited Spain have spent an average of 40% more on their flight reservations compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the average expenditure of British visitors on hotel reservations in Spain during the summer months has increased by 10% with regard to last year's figures.

Destinia.com, a company based in Madrid, Spain, has interpreted this increase in tourist spending as a positive sign, and considers this to be the right moment to focus on their future expansion strategy in the European market, particularly after its recent launch in the United Kingdom.

From its beginnings more than a decade ago, the travel agency has maintained an exponentional growing in the sector thanks to the development of an advanced intelligent search system, which allows clients to search for the best available deals in real time.

In this way, and using its leading position in Spain, Destinia.com will offer its British clients a wide range of hotels and flights to Spain through the local domain http://destinia.co.uk.
