For 72 million women nationwide, they now have access to an online resource center dedicated to their financial, career, and personal development well-being and goals. WeHelpWomen.com is a new online resource center geared to educating and building community for women looking to expand their skills and know-how in their lives. Visitors to the site will find a low-cost curriculum of unique and powerful online courses, assessments and webinars led by experts from around the country.
Starting with a free assessment, women will be given a recommended course guide including 5 to 30 minute online courses such as:
- The Job Hunting track includes “Getting your resume noticed,” “Networking your way to a job” and “Behavioral interviewing techniques.”
- The Career Strategy track focuses on “Career Invention” and “Career Restoration: What to do after an extended absence.”
- On the Job track, women will learn skills that are beneficial in the workforce including, “Communicating effectively with difficult people.”
What is significant about this online resource center are the partnerships and curriculum leaders WeHelpWomen.com has teamed up with including Molly Wendell, Pamela Slim, Joelle Hadley and Michele Woodward. Each of these women teaches a course either on personal development, career planning and interviewing or financial savings and investing.
“One of our most popular courses in the beta testing was in our Personal Development track about learning on how to set boundaries. Personal development, regardless of age, is essential,” said Pat Petznick, Co-Founder of Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. “Our goal at WeHelpWomen.com is to help women gain new skills, become inspired, and to understand how important they are.”
