Singular drips of black paint on white canvas paper, with an occasional fury of red, create visions of the deranged and broken human form and spirit. This is the basis of Ben’s art series’ Love Sex Death: “A Story About a Nobody” and his “Paintings from the Other Side.” Ben’s minimalistic abstract art explores a wide range of topics about the human mental and physical state and how a singular drip of paint can cause real emotion. Ben says, “The images by themselves will evoke a certain feeling of that viewers state of mind, but when they read the titles it will trigger other feelings, some pleasant and some disturbing, that I think many people can relate to.”

Ben Walker is a self taught artist who was raised in Garden Grove, CA. He has exhibited his art at various group and solo shows throughout Southern California and in Florida and Connecticut. Ben’s paintings can be found in numerous private collections across the US and in other countries as far away as, Japan, Israel and Australia.
