Wandering Worx Music recently announced that they will release the new album from Seattle MC Khingz called “Liberation of the Monster” on October 27th, 2011.

"From Slaveships to Spaceships", his last official release was a critically acclaimed concept album focusing on the personal journey toward liberation of a man caught between a love and hate of himself and the world he lives in. This creation was a much overdue form of catharsis that probably saved his life.

Khingz is currently working on a highly anticipated solo album featuring a reunion with Seattle hip hop legend Vitamin D, as well as an EP with another Seattle musical giant, Bean One.

His new album is produced entirely by his Wandering Worx label mate Rel!g!on. The two met at a music showcase in Vancouver a year and a half ago and started working on the album immediately. “Khingz is a very talented MC and he is well respected in the Seattle music scene. He has a lot to say on this album and Rel!g!on provided the soundtrack to facilitate that,” says Wandering Worx co-founder Rodney Davidson, “They definitely inspire one another.”

Based in Vancouver, BC, Wandering Worx Music was launched in October 2010 as the official record label of Wandering Worx Entertainment. The label’s debut release, Rel!g!on’s ‘Revelationz 1’, garnered critical acclaim, with the record’s first single ‘Lucid’, featuring Moka Only and E.D.G.E, in rotation on Much Music. The label is also working closely with Grammy-winning Vancouver producer Chin Injeti, who produced two tracks on Eminem’s Recovery, which won Best Rap Album at the 2011 Grammy Awards.
