Romanelli Communications, a full service marketing and communications firm, announced a contest dubbed, “Does Your Logo Suck?” The contest, targeted to businesses, encourages business leaders who are unhappy with their logos to apply and provide a compelling reason they believe they should win. Submissions may include a current logo, company story, video, or any other materials they feel will help. Romanelli will choose an “inspirational” winner from among the entries, and provide a complete, original logo design, free of charge.
“Our work is about Brands We Believe In,” said Joe Romanelli, President of Romanelli Communications. “We would love to find that next great brand. One that inspires us, that contributes in a positive way to our society.” Romanelli admits that may be casting a wide net. “You may feel you contribute by helping others in need, or by creating products that make lives easier, or by employing more people in our community. It’s up to you, but you have to convince us you’re worth working for.”
The contest is underway, and submissions will be accepted through October 21st. A winner will be announced, and work commenced, on October 26th. Romanelli plans to post updates and images on their Facebook page as the work progresses. They have created a short video of their own to announce the contest, and have set up a web landing page for the contest itself.
