It all started when I decided to play a practical joke on one of my bosses.

Writelife, LLC has published a new humor book that might make you think twice about putting a for-sale ad on the internet.
Responding primarily to ads on Craigslist, Endelman uses the name, Randy Penny, while engaging in hilariously wacky and all-too-real conversations with people that, among other things, use the internet to sell ordinary household items. “It all started when I decided to play a practical joke on one of my bosses,” describes Endelman. “I thought there was something there. I kept going with it and started posting the conversations I was having on a website.”
An Omaha native, Endelman earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. He has performed stand-up comedy, studied at Second City in Chicago, and written for several publications. Randy Penny is his first book. His next book, a collection of personal essays entitled I Hope There’s Pie will be released later this year.
