R.S. Everburg’s ‘Audrika’s Magic’ to grace this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair

Children’s author R.S. Everburg brings delight to bookshelves as she releases Audrika’s Magic. Made available through Xlibris, this book follows the exciting adventures- and misadventures- of a feisty young girl who’s suddenly swept into a world of enchantment.

Audrika hates fourth grade. She hates the fight she just had with her friends, but most of all she hates being shipped off to her grandmother’s home in the country for the whole summer. Nobody asked her if she wanted to go. It’s all been decided. Her parents are off to do important work in a dangerous part of the world, while she is going to ‘grow moss on her head’ in the place her dad calls Yawnsville. Little does Audrika know that she is going to be given a magic gift that will open a portal to a whole new world.

First of all, she has to make friends with Moo the cat and Barnum and Bailey, Nana’s giant fun loving dogs. Then she suspects a fairy is living in Nana’s garden. Before she can investigate, however, a magical gift leads her to the first great adventure of her life. She’s beginning to suspect that magic may really exist and that Nana knows a lot more about it than she is saying. Before her summer is over, she will discover she has magic inside of her, too - a magic more powerful than she could have imagined. Along the way she will find true friendship, the courage to fight for what is good in the world, and a way to share her most magical gift.

This book will be featured at the 2011 Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 12-16, 2011. For more information on this book, interested parties may log on to http://www.Xlibris.com.
