Marketing Executives Networking Group Names New Board Members

The Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG) is the premiere international community of executive-level marketers who share their passion and expertise to ensure each member’s success.

The Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG), the premier international community for executive-level marketers, today announced that it has named three new members to its Board of Directors. The appointments are as follows:

  •     Joey Iazzetto, Vice Chair – Iazzetto has extensive agency leadership, management, client relationship management and business development experience, helping to grow and eventually sell the Unicom Marketing Group (UMG) based in Chicago. As the Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer for UMG since 1989, he helped create successful campaigns for clients such as Kmart, Sprint, GE Capital and Motorola. He is a frequent speaker on marketing topics and has twice been recognized with the Edison Award for client campaigns. Iazzetto also serves on the Board of Directors of Avanti Medical Group. He is currently a Senior Vice President at CBD Marketing – an integrated marketing communications agency based in Chicago, IL.
  •     James Weldon, Member-at-Large – Weldon is Founder & President of Strategic Directions Associates, Inc. - a business-building consultancy serving B2B & CPG clients in the U.S. and internationally. Jamie’s 35-year career in U.S. and worldwide marketing and planning at Kraft General Foods, Chock full o’Nuts & Sara Lee Coffee & Tea is complemented by 31 years at Fordham University – Colleges of Business, where he is currently Associate Professor of Marketing.
  •     Diane Mensinger, Chapter Chair Liaison – Mensinger is Vice President for SMC Solutions, a consultancy for global 500, entrepreneurial and non-profit organizations. She has served clients such as Dun & Bradstreet, InfoUSA, National Wildlife Federation, and Montclair State University. Based in New Jersey, Mensinger has extensive experience with start-up organizations, environmental issues and health care, particularly senior-care issues. She was also a former Chair for the NJ Chapter of MENG.

In announcing the appointments, MENG Chairman Richard Sellers noted that each member of the 15-person body brings unique expertise that will continue to strengthen and advance the organization in the months and years to come. Commented Sellers, “Our board continues to grow stronger, resulting in new energy, strategic ideas and tactical execution to increase MENG’s member experience, and overall value.”
