South Carolina educators are invited to attend a webinar, sponsored by Pearson Schoolnet, to learn more about the powerful ways that PowerSchool can be leveraged to integrate Schoolnet’s instructional management system to increase teacher effectiveness and improve student learning.
Participants in the webinar will learn strategies for integrating Pearson’s PowerSchool student information system with Schoolnet’s instructional management system to provide educators with a single logon for student and teacher data, dashboards, and instructional and assessment resources. Used by every South Carolina school district, PowerSchool enables today’s educators to make timely decisions that impact student performance while creating a collaborative environment for parents, teachers and students to work together in preparing 21st century learners for the future. When school districts combine PowerSchool with Schoolnet’s Instructional Improvement System, the newest member of the Pearson family of information management tools, they discover a single platform for managing student data and personalizing instruction for students, parents and educators.
In addition, South Carolina educators will learn more about how the Schoolnet South Carolina Consortium (SSCC) provides them with the opportunity to share instructional resources across districts and improve student outcomes for all South Carolina students.
Presented in two sessions on Oct. 11, this webinar will be hosted by Mark McKinney, senior account executive, and Jarren Pester, senior solution specialist, both of Pearson Schoolnet. McKinney has more than 15 years of experience in the software industry and leads Schoolnet’s initiatives in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Pester, a former member educator within Chicago Public Schools, provides South Carolina schools with strategic support as they implement their Schoolnet solutions.
