Patterson has already introduced the Saebo product line in select markets, and we are very encouraged by the early results. We have a full, national roll-out to all of Patterson’s sales representatives in the US and Canada scheduled for early this fall.
Charlotte, NCA (PRWEB) September 29, 2011
Saebo, Inc., a leading international provider of upper-extremity stroke rehab products, announced today that it has concluded a comprehensive product distribution agreement with Patterson Medical Holdings, Inc., North America’s largest provider of Rehabilitation Equipment and related products. Under terms of the agreement, Patterson representatives may now offer the complete line of Saebo’s innovative, upper-extremity stroke rehab products to their local, regional and national customers in the United States and Canada.
“We are, of course, very pleased to expand our relationship with Patterson Medical. While they have distributed some of our products through their catalogs for many years, this new agreement represents a large commitment by both parties to significantly increase sales of Saebo’s products through Patterson’s nationwide sales force(s) and distribution network(s),” commented Henry Hoffman, Saebo’s Co-Founder and President. “Patterson has already introduced the Saebo product line in select markets, and we are very encouraged by the early results. We have a full, national roll-out to all of Patterson’s sales representatives in the US and Canada scheduled for early this fall,” Hoffman concluded.
“As the largest distributor of Rehab equipment in North America, Patterson has long and deep customer relationships, as well as a significant number of national contracts,” continued Rick Moore, Saebo’s National Director of Sales. “All of this presents very attractive growth opportunities for Saebo in the coming years.”
With catalogs distributed to over well over 400,000 health care professionals, and with over 200 representatives selling to hospitals, rehab facilities, therapy clinics and long term care facilities, Patterson Medical Holdings, Inc. is the largest distributor of rehabilitation equipment and products in North America.
Saebo, Inc. is a global provider of innovative rehabilitation products for stroke survivors and other neurologically impaired individuals. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the company was founded in 2001 by two occupational therapists specializing in stroke rehabilitation. Saebo’s pioneering treatment protocols are based on new research documenting the brain’s remarkable ability to “re-program” itself following injury. The company’s neurological orthotic devices, SaeboFlex and SaeboReach, allow patients with very little residual hand function to forge new pathways in the brain to immediately begin grasping and releasing objects in high repetition exercises. Named Most Valuable Product in 2008 by Therapy Times, the SaeboFlex and SaeboReach are now offered at over 1,500 clinics and hospitals nationwide. Used within 22 of the “Top 25 Rehabilitation Hospitals” (U.S. News & World Report), Saebo products are eligible for reimbursement by Medicare and most commercial insurers. A network of over 5,500 Saebo-trained clinicians, spanning four continents, is committed to helping stroke survivors around the globe achieve a new level of independence.
