NES Financial, a leading provider of technology and services for the banking industry and Fortune 500 companies, has announced that W. Michael West will join the company ’s Board of Directors. West’s new role focuses on helping transition NES Financial from successful startup to an established pre-IPO organization.

West brings to NES Financial more than 30 years of experience in driving private and public high-tech companies to become among the leaders in their markets. Currently, West serves on Boards for Dialogic (NASDAQ: DLGC) deCarta, and Right Hemisphere which was acquired by SAP in September 2011. Previously he served as Chairman for Extreme Networks (NASDAQ: EXTR) and held executive positions with telecommunication companies such as VINA Technologies, Octel Communications and Rolm Corporation.

“There is a tremendous unmet need in the marketplace that I believe NES Financial’s technology addresses,” said West. “NES Financial's advanced solutions for leading corporations and banks improve financial transaction administration and reporting, reduce operating costs, and enhance corporate and regulatory compliance capabilities. I look forward to working with the NES Financial Board of Directors, and executive team as we expand our product offerings and build new relationships that will help the company continue to grow.”

Michael Halloran, President and CEO of NES Financial, believes West’s experience in running large-scale technology companies will further advance the success of NES Financial’s solutions to improve the administration of complex financial transactions.

“In today’s rapidly changing financial services sector, there is a compelling need for technology that enhances banks' existing core technology platforms,” said Halloran. “NES Financial can quickly and cost-effectively enable higher service levels, greater efficiency, enhanced scalability, and rapid data integration. With West’s proven track record in guiding highly successful private and public companies, I’m confident that his contribution will prove quite valuable to NES Financial.”
