Many people throughout the world are touched by the horror of breast cancer. The emotional, physical and mental pain that friends, family and patients endure is astronomical. This is one reason why when Bill Jacobs Joliet’s New Car Manager Joe Fosco learned that a fundraising walk for breast cancer would be taking place in Chicago on October 2nd he knew Bill Jacobs needed to be involved.

Bill Jacobs Joliet is one of the leading Chevy dealerships in the Chicago area and Fosco believed that the dealership should do its part by raising money and “Driving for a Cure.”

Bill Jacobs Joliet decided to have a goal of $5,000 and has already raised a third of that. Fosco believes that Bill Jacobs will meet or beat its goal. From now until the second of October, Bill Jacobs will donate five dollars toward the cause for each test drive that takes place in any new or used vehicle. People are also able to contribute separately or additionally. Bill Jacobs routinely participates in charitable work and they are very proud to be a part of this cause.

Additionally, four new cars including the Chevy Volt, will be on display at the American Cancer Society’s 2011 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 2nd at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet. These cars will then be moved to the Joliet dealership. Each person who donates money through Bill Jacobs will have their name printed on a pink ribbon, which will be attached to the cars.

“We plan to have the cars covered with stickers!” said Brion Parrish, of Bill Jacobs Chevy in Plainfield.

Bill Jacobs Joliet serves the Chicago area by providing a great selection of new Chevy vehicles in Joliet. They also have a large selection of used cars in Joliet.
