Bill Jacobs Plainfield- the leading Chevy dealership in Plainfield, Illinois knows that almost everyone has been touched in some by breast cancer and the horrible things that come with it. Cancer affects virtually everybody and it is a horrible disease, which is why the Bill Jacobs group decided to do something to help combat it.
When Joe Fosco, the Bill Jacobs Joliet New Car Manager found out about the American Cancer Society’s 2011 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 2nd he knew that the Bill Jacobs Auto Group should be involved. This lead to the “Driving for a Cure,” which is taking place at Bill Jacobs Plainfield from now until October 2nd. Bill Jacobs Plainfield will donate five dollars toward the cause for every test drive in a new or used vehicle. Bill Jacobs Plainfield is very proud to be a part of this worthwhile cause.
The dealership has a goal of $5,000 and a third of that money is already raised. People may also contribute additionally or separately. Four new cars, including the all-new electric Chevy Volt will be at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet where the walk takes place on October 2nd. The cars will then be moved to the Joliet dealership. The name of each person who donated through Bill Jacobs will be imprinted on a pink ribbon, which will then be attached to the cars. The dealership plans to have the cars covered with stickers.
