As the newly formed SCIP (Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals) Austin Chapter works to expand the organizations local presence, Jeff Chiesa, Global Group Manager of Market Intelligence of KCI, is welcomed to its steering committee.
Mr. Chiesa brings vast industry insight as a practitioner of competitive intelligence in a nearly $2 billion public company. “I am really excited about Jeff’s background and passion for CI. His involvement on our steering committee will bring a great industry perspective to our chapter.” said Crystal Pieschel, Austin SCIP Chapter Coordinator.
Jeff was instrumental in developing the competitive and market intelligence function at Kinetic Concepts, Inc. in San Antonio, where he leads a global team of professionals in gathering information and developing insights into a rapidly evolving marketplace. The team gathers and disseminates information that plays a vital role in virtually every area of the company, from sales and marketing to operations and finance.
