"...audiences are seeking challenging stories with a message of hope."

No Restrictions Entertainment announces the release of their second social issue feature, Mother's Red Dress, a tragic love story that deals with family trauma, mental illness, and domestic abuse.

The company’s president, John Paul Rice, a former employee of Mandate Pictures (Juno, The Grudge, Harold and Kumar), partnered with filmmaker Edgar Michael Bravo to produce social issue films that are both entertaining and have an emotional impact. Their first movie which is based on a true story, the critically acclaimed One Hour Fantasy Girl, deals with a runaway trying to survive in Hollywood.

Rice says “Films such as Lee Daniel’s Oscar nominated ‘Precious’ demonstrate that audiences are seeking challenging stories with a message of hope.” An advocate for social media marketing on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, Rice adds he is further convinced of the public’s interest in non-traditional Hollywood films after seeing the teaser trailer for Mother's Red Dress on YouTube reach a quarter of a million views.

Continuing their production of social issue features, No Restrictions Entertainment is in pre-production on their next project Looking For a Job which is set during the 2008 economic crisis where an upper-class family loses all their money and ends up homeless.
