Decision First Employees Volunteer To Help Frames Around The World

We made some incredible progress for Frames for the World on Saturday and because of that progress the foundation is now able to send the next 20,000 units for donation to Paraguay and Costa Rica.

Decision First Technologies (DFT) announced today that some of its employees recently volunteered to help Frames For The World, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation sponsored by National Vision, Inc. Through donations of new eyeglass frames from both manufacturers and practitioners, the foundation is able to distribute these eyeglasses to qualified non-profit eye hospitals and clinics in the developing world. Without these donations, many of the recipients would not be able to afford the eyeglasses needed to correct their vision. On Saturday, September 24th, DFT employees dedicated their time and effort to help sort eyeglass frames in National Vision’s Lawrenceville distribution center.

Reade Fahs, president and chief executive officer of National Vision, said “We made some incredible progress for Frames for the World on Saturday and because of that progress the foundation is now able to send the next 20,000 units for donation to Paraguay and Costa Rica. We really appreciate companies like DFT and their employees. It’s their generosity that will help fulfill our vision of a world where everyone has the opportunity to see.”

“Each year DFT sponsors National Vision’s Prevent Blindness Georgia golf tournament, but this year we wanted to do more and something on a larger scale that would touch people around the world,” said Taylor Courtnay, co-founder and vice-president of sales for DFT. “After personally speaking with Reade Fahs, we both agreed that the perfect opportunity would be to donate our time to Frames For The World. Not only was Saturday productive, but we all had a great time volunteering and working together for a common cause…bringing the gift of sight to those less fortunate. We look forward to continuing our support of this foundation as well as other worthy causes."
